• Desires to fight; desires to kill, especially the person who contradicts him.



• Impulsiveness; strong impulsiveness: makes split-second emotionally-based decisions; impulses to take lots of drugs and medicines, changes remedies all the time, overdoses and poisons themselves. The anguish level is so great that they constantly seek relief from drugs, medications and alcohol.



• Dirtiness: eats dirty or unclean things, "filthy in mind and body" (Boger), does foolish, mischievous, disgusting things: for example, spits on the floor then licks it up, etc.



• Very strong tendencies to destructive behaviors in general such as alcoholism, substance abuse and various other syphilitic (destructive) behaviors.



• Uncontrollable sexual desires; impulses to have unsafe or unclean sex; sexual manias, et c.



• Strong impulses to kill in general. But most troubling in this area is mercury's impulses to kill loved-ones or family members in a sudden rage from slight offenses, jealousy or contradiction. (With all the mass killings going on in the US, I think we need to carefully examine a possible connection between mercury poisoning and homicide rates - too many lives are being lost in killing sprees not to examine this as a factor.)



• In individuals with stronger will-power and self-control than others, these homicidal impulses would be more controlled and sublimated into other behaviors such as beating people up, destroying property, violent language, general maliciousness, etc. or playing mind games or hurting others emotionally (Anac., Hyos.. Lach., Nux v., Stram.) and so on.



• In others the impulse to commit suicide or homicide is very high, especially on seeing a knife or other sharp instrument, when contradicted and thinking impulsively under the effects of mercury on the mind.



• Anxiety or panic attacks, paranoia and feelings as if he is about to die or go insane are also common.

The symptoms of mercury have been scientifically recorded through homeopathic provings, accidental poisonings and cured clinical symptoms and are in the public domain. The validity of this body of scientific knowledge cannot be refuted. To obtain a comprehensive understanding of Mercury one needs to read many sources including homeopathic materia medicas, repertories and philosophical works of the classical homeopaths and toxicology reports. As far as mercury causing or aggravating particular diseases, each case must be looked at carefully and individually. Look for a possible causality or etiology for the complaint. If mercury is there, it cannot scientifically be ignored. That may not be the complete picture in some cases, but it certainly will contribute to the further degeneration of the patient's condition to have this poison present in the body, since it affects all tissues in a destructive manner.
